Textile Owl Sculpture - Two Day Workshop - 9th /10th October 2021

Taking place on Saturday the 9th of October through to Sunday the 10th of October 2021. The workshop runs from 9.30am - 4.30pm each day with an hours lunch break.
You will need to bring your own packed lunch, though hot/cold drinks and biscuits will be provided.

The workshop is located at The Studio in the grounds of Stansted House, Rowlands Castle, Hampshire PO9 6DX (www.stanstedpark.co.uk)

This workshop offers you the chance to make your own sculpted textile Owl.
Creating a form and exploring construction with wire, fabric, and stuffing.

In a unique approach to sculpting we will wrap, layer and hand stitch fabric using wire armature where necessary to realise your vision.

As our Owls take shape, magic starts to happen, and a personality begins to emerge. We can experiment with different methods of design, to build character and suggest expression using innovative sewing and wire working techniques.

Fabric, Wire and all the necessary tools are provided, but it is always nice to bring along your own selection of treasured fabrics and objects to personalize your sculpture.

Class size is limited to six students.
Bookings are non refundable or transferable to a different workshop.
